Hong Ying Tao plot
In 1940, Chuchu and Luo Xiaoman, aged 13 and 12, are two Chinese students at the Moscow International School. They adapt well and learn Russian. When the class goes on a summer school trip, the Nazis attack. The summer camp is attacked by the Germans and the teacher is murdered. Meanwhile, Luo, who stayed behind in Moscow, takes a job as a condolence deliverer.
