Clearly not as strong as the first part, as a Vincent Price fan I didn't initially think of it just because of his voice! What an invisible actor can't do.
It all seems to start a bit slowly in my opinion, the original started off strong right away, but this film wanted to tell a bigger story and in my opinion it didn't quite succeed.
After Radcliffe starts to have delusions of grandeur the film reaches its climax and suddenly becomes very entertaining and interesting again!
Nan Gray was also a nice addition! Pretty cute and pretty natural.

Vincent Price is well cast as a man who manages to escape from prison using a serum that makes him invisible in the hope of proving his innocence. The story is not very inventive and attempts at comedy are not always successful. However, the special effects are impressive and (even) better than in The Invisible Man (1933)! That, coupled with Vincent Price's fine performance in an early lead role, makes this definitely worth it.

It's a shame that after 7 years no real progress had been made in the field of special effects. It looked almost identical to the first film. Only now Vincent Price had the honor of playing the invisible one. There weren't really any comical situations here. And strange but true. In the first movie it was monocane that made you invisible. Here it was duocane.
