After the sudden death of Boudewijn Büch in 2002, the popular writer and media personality was labeled fantastic and even a liar in countless publications. This documentary attempts to unravel the complex, intertwined stories of and around Büch, thereby exposing an image of a tormented man, in constant conflict with his inner demons. One of Büch's greatest mysteries is undoubtedly the existence or non-existence of his child, who died young. What do a literary son in the novel De Kleine Blond Dood, a real child named Boudewijn Iskander and a broken love affair have to do with each other?
