Fireflies in the Abyss plot

Fireflies in the Abyss follows the stories of miners in northeast India. Including brave 11-year-old Suraj, who works in an illegal mine to afford a better life. They all come to the mines for different reasons. But once they are there, at some point they also look for an opportunity to leave again. Some flee this life, but most remain.
