"How Many Could Be Saved?"
During the chaotic final weeks of the Vietnam War, the North Vietnamese army continues to advance towards Saigon. The panicked South Vietnamese population desperately tries to flee the city. American soldiers and diplomats have a moral choice to make: follow the orders of the White House and evacuate only American citizens, or also help as many South Vietnamese as possible. Choosing the latter option runs the risk of being found guilty of ignoring orders, and with it possible treason.
