Kosmos plot

Filmed up close, Kosmos follows the family of Kevin Mroc, a Roma family from Slovakia who lived in the squatted Gesù monastery in Brussels until the end of 2013. In the run-up to the eviction of the building, the young Belgian director Ruben Desiere made this documentary with fictional elements. Kosmos is loosely based on the story of the same name by the Polish writer Witold Gombrowicz, in which the characters' quest to find meaning in a chaotic, precarious environment is clearly visible.
