The Device plot

Abby and Rebecca Powell have not seen each other since a traumatic event in their youth drove them apart. After more than ten years, the sisters meet again when they take a trip to scatter their deceased mother's ashes at a remote lake. As the sisters try to heal the old wounds again, something awaits them in the nearby forest, a strange object not made by humans.
