Shûen plot

Against the background of a looming war, a tragic story of true love takes place. Takuji, son of a fishing boss, meets Kiyono, a young girl from a mountain village. Despite the fact that their environment does not approve, the two decide to get married. However, then war breaks out and Takuji is sent to the front.
