A messy film that contains numerous logical errors. The acting performances are pathetic. This is not a B-movie, but a Z-movie. I only watched this movie to pass the time.

* On what basis were they able to activate the skulls?
* At one point the scientist has 36 hours to find the last skull, but has to travel the world in old-fashioned helicopters and cars. How is this possible in this time span?
* From the scene and context it can be deduced that one cannot get to the Mayan temple by car and can only do so on foot. It is clear that the temple is located on a high mountain in a forest. A hike would take hours (or maybe days).
* How can the scientist get to Switzerland in a few minutes from that Mayan temple somewhere in South America?
* It is already clear in experimental theory that the activation of all skulls is dangerous: how then does one conclude that bringing all skulls together will ultimately save the world and make the vortex disappear?
* The gorge, which is visited a few times, can only be reached by descending into it via ropes / tension cables, but the last time one leaves that gorge, it is through a hiking trail.
* The cave complex collapses after accidentally touching something, but it is clear that the skull that was thought to be found there has already been taken away in the past. Why didn't the cave complex collapse then?
* And so I can list many more mistakes...
