Austin to Boston plot

5 Volkswagen vans. 4 bands. 3 thousand miles. 2 weeks. 1 ridiculous tour. The adventure kicks off at the close of the closing day of the SXSW music festival in Austin, Texas. The bands (Ben Howard, The Staves, Nathaniel Rateliff, Bear's Den) cram themselves into the vans and travel to the northeast of the country. They play everywhere they go: from bars to barns, in rooms and on roofs and in small packed halls. But heavy rainstorms, car breakdown and cramped spaces make the artists realize that sometimes you have to work together to achieve your goal. A documentary about a modern tour, the old-fashioned way.
