Yeah... Hmm. A professional autistic with supernatural powers harasses a couple. A completely idiotic premise, but that's the last problem with this Come Back To Me. I think the plot itself has potential; provided the execution is fitting. It feels too much like a standard TV thriller with a cast to match. Annoyingly standard execution. The lame premise is the only thin thread holding your attention.

The film adaptation of the book material focuses primarily on the mystery and the characters themselves, even though the plot is essentially laid out from the very first scene. Director Paul Leyden turns Come Back to Me into a kind of made-for-TV movie, with the acting fittingly subpar and the visuals looking dated and shoddy. The concept invites some interesting visuals, the ending is very solid, and it doesn't drag on too long, but the filmmakers could easily have pushed the boundaries and perhaps kept the mystery intact for longer.
