Somewhere on the outskirts of Tehran is a small factory where illegal Afghan asylum seekers work. They live with their families in old containers or modest shacks in the nearby slums. Sabel, a young Iranian worker, has secret meetings with Marona, the daughter of Abdolsalem, an Afghan worker. A love story unfolds whose outcome no one can predict.
