Verloop van Jaren - Dichter bij Remco Campert plot
Writer Remco Campert sees himself first and foremost as a poet. Even though he is perhaps best known for his columns and stories and public appearances. In it, he has carefully created a picture of himself as a charming Sunday child who is loved by all. But who is he really? Director John Albert Jansen visited Campert for a year. We get to know him in his daily life and habits, but also during more intimate moments such as hospitalization and conversations with his daughters and friends. Remco Campert himself is a man of few (spoken) words, but his poems tell a story of melancholy, transience and approaching death. Fortunately, writing still keeps him going.
