Definitely a drama. Somewhat rudderless, gray and dark of images and with a poignant lack of dialogue. That would work if the images were strong enough, but that is really only the case in the middle. There are a few nice finds there, which have rightly made it into the poster.

It was not very clear to me what exactly the makers intended with the film.

Wow, very strange movie. Reminded me in many ways of the structure of Fabrice du Welz' Adoration (Film, 2019). There too, the flight of two teenagers who move into the wide world where the girl has psychological problems.

Only it is very poorly developed here. There is little chemistry between the two people. And the turn the film takes at the end is very strange and chaotic. Not very explanatory and all aimless. I would have liked to see a bit more about the institution. I was also left hungry with the flat development of the character Joni.

You can do a lot with hallucinations, but it didn't do much justice here. Little dialogue too. So a little too skinny.
