Hirngespinster plot
The Dallingers seem to be the perfect family, yet they hide a secret: Father Hans talks to himself, is always neurotic, and even gets into trouble with the police after breaking a neighbor's satellite dish. For this reason, son Simon now has to take care of the household and his sister Maya. A pleasant change for both is the self-confident Verena, who is doing an internship at the local hospital. Verena and Simon also desperately need each other to get through to father Hans more easily.
