Fariña plot
The story is set in Galicia in the 1980s. Fishermen, after the regime of dictator Franco and the fish crisis, have a lot of debt. One of those young fishermen, Sito Miñanco, is having a hard time making ends meet. Led by Vicente Otero Pérez “Terito”, he starts smuggling cocaine, giving Latin American suppliers access to the European market.

Pretty good series on the Galician cocaine trade. However, I think it's a shame that Sito is really only the only character that can really captivate me. The other families/traders (de Charlines, Oubiña) all seem stupid. The inspector is also not very interesting, for example the precise background of his father remains very vague.
The story is well put together, so it was not a big effort to watch the series. The episodes were just a bit too long (an hour is actually a bit too long for me).
