A disappointing documentary series in which Will Smith, inspired by his late mentor, spends 100 days tackling all sorts of challenges in the most remote areas on earth. It all looks fantastic, but Smith is unnecessarily heavy-handed and constantly rambles on about all sorts of supposed existential questions. This makes him rather unfunny. The episodes in the Amazon cave and the diving at the North Pole are the best; the rest are very mediocre.
