Real Rob plot
Take a look at the world of comedian and actor Rob Schneider. This comedy series follows the ups and downs of his career and family life, consisting of his wife Patricia and daughter Miranda. Being famous in Hollywood is not as easy as it seems. Rob has to deal with his family and girlfriend's problems, but especially his own. He stands on a huge billboard in Hollywood for a penis enlargement product, discovers that his colleague David Spade is more successful and he fails to arrange Ryan Gosling for his wife's male comic show.

Real Rob, the real Rob Schneider? Yes it is, but everything about it still poses as a big bad joke. With roles such as Fergee in Jugde Dredd, Marvin in The Animal, Clive/Jessica in Hot Chick and finally Deuce Bigalow in Deuce Bigalow 1 and 2, Schneider is known as an actor. In between, a few more leading roles followed, including in a few unknown films. He didn't really have much success except in the aforementioned films. A look into the world of the real Rob Schneider would then only be for the real enthusiast.
You will not see a real insight into his life here. At no point has it been attempted to portray a realistic picture of the comedian and his life. It is mainly intended as landmarks from Schneider's life that have been exaggerated and blandly portrayed here. Some themes in the series link a joke to a skit from his stand-up performance. But in general Real Rob is a big bad joke that still contains a nice, funny, situation here and there.
In retrospect, it would have been better if Schneider had continued acting in comedy films and wriggled out of Netflix with Adam Sandler. But for now the friends are even drier there than in Hollywood. Because where Adam Sandler signed for the making of ten Netflix films, Schneider has already signed the papers for a second season of Real Rob.
