Ellen plot
Ellen Morgan is a thirty-year-old neurotic employee of a bookstore: Buy the Book. She tries to organize her life as best she can, but this is not made easy for her by her annoying and overprotective parents Lois and Harold. Fortunately, she can always count on her good friends: the energetic Paige, the insecure photographer Adam, her nephew Spence, the critical Audrey and Joe. Ellen's life is anything but ordinary and the line between safety and insanity is very thin.
