Mother and Son plot
Arthur Gbeme has recently become single again. When his widowed mother Maggie sets fire to her kitchen, he moves back to the house where he grew up. He puts, as he puts it, his life on hold to care for his mother. The truth is, though, there isn't much to put on hold. Maggie has become quite eccentric since her husband's death. She is also the boss of the house.
