Son of a Critch plot

Mark is an eleven-year-old boy growing up in St. John's, Newfoundland in the 1980s. However, he is not an ordinary boy. Inside, he is much older than a teenager. As he begins high school, he makes frantic efforts to win friends and connect with the small collection of people in his limited world. However, that is not an easy task and leads to hilarious situations.
