Leuke, boeiende zesdelige documentaire-serie van National Geographic over leven en werken op Antarctica. Teams van wetenschappers worden gevolgd bij het uitvoeren van hun onderzoeken, vaak onder barre omstandigheden. De aanpak is een beetje oppervlakkig en de reeks is wellicht iets te opzichtig cool gemonteerd, maar de afzonderlijke verhaallijntjes, de betrokken mensen en de spectaculaire omgeving maken veel goed.

Fun, engaging six-part documentary series from National Geographic about living and working in Antarctica. Teams of scientists are followed as they carry out their research, often under harsh conditions. The approach is a bit superficial and the series is perhaps edited a bit too ostentatiously cool, but the individual storylines, the people involved and the spectacular surroundings make up for a lot.
