Night Court plot

The unabashedly optimistic Judge Abby Stone, the daughter of the late Harry Stone, follows in her father's footsteps as night shift presiding judge of a Manhattan court. Abby and her associates tackle the most intricate and wacky cases of the day that find their way into the night shift. At the same time, Abby tries to bring order to the gang of cranks and cynics, most notably former prosecutor Dan Fielding.
