Ancient Apocalypse plot

Four-part documentary about the disappearance of ancient civilizations. One is taken to the Spinx. Pyramids and ancient Egypt that flourished until about 4200 BC. Hieroglyphs suggest a mini ice age. Is that what made the kingdom disappear? The demise of the seafaring Minoans in the 17th century BC remains a mystery. Was it the eruption of a volcano near Santorini, or were the devastating waves caused by something else? The ancient Mayan culture left behind wonderful treasures, but the great mystery remains how the eleven million people disappeared around the year 800. There are theories about a catastrophic drought of the country. How seriously should one take it? Sodom and Gomorrah were long thought to be a biblical myth, until it was discovered that the cities actually existed. Is it great fires, or is it a major earthquake that has wiped out the cities?
