When the pandemic hits, Dona Isadir doesn't think twice and rents out her apartment in Cachambi, Brazil, in the northern zone above Rio de Janeiro, in order to be closer to her family. She does this by unilaterally deciding to move into the mansion in Barra da Tijuca that her son Carlos owns. This leads to great annoyance with her daughter-in-law Alice. After all, the meddling Isadir does everything to disrupt the life of her bumbling son and hostile daughter-in-law.
