Visually it looks fine. Started watching all the original episodes of Star Trek 2 months ago. This new one is a breath of fresh air. I was tired of the "Kissing Kirk".

I like it very much I must say,
The Star Trek original series vibe is back a bit, but the first one remains by far my favorite series.
I find Pike more sympathetic than Kirk (William Shatner)
Anson Mount has the necessary charisma.
The new Spock (Ethan Peck) is my favorite in the Strange New Worlds.
What a beautiful voice that man has.
Uhura is funny, but not Nichelle Nichols.
I think "Nurse Chapel" is too exaggerated.
It remains to be seen how things will develop further.
For now, I'm happy with this.
