Anna plot
Anna lives among the dead of Sicily. A major virus has killed all adults in Europe and everyone who hits puberty gets sick and dies from the same virus. Anna's mother left her a booklet telling her how to survive. First and foremost is that she has to look after her brother Astor. She runs through village after village in search of food, until things go wrong and Astor is taken by other children. She goes after the group and discovers that there are rumors circulating that there is someone on the island who can provide a cure for the virus. All the children of the island gather in an act of desperation to be freed from the hopelessness of their lives. Anna goes after them to find her brother.
