In “Probleemwijken” you can see high-profile portraits of the inhabitants of Dutch working-class neighbourhoods. It often produces disconcerting television from people who have different standards and values than the average Dutch person. Weed plantations, healing, public intoxication, vandalism, racism and public violence are part of everyday life in the deprived neighborhoods of this series.
