Wim Kayzer conducted separate interviews with six renowned scientists from different fields of research. They talk extensively about their work and the world. Kayzer's interlocutors were: paleontologist Stephen Jay Gould, philosopher of science Stephen Toulmin, philosopher of consciousness Daniel D. Dennett, cell biologist Rupert Sheldrake, astrophysicist Freeman Dyson, and psychiatrist Oliver Sachs. The series ended with a group discussion in which the six debated among themselves.
