Het Goeie Leven plot

From more than seven hundred candidates, Wim Lybaert chose six duos who are crazy about growing and cooking. Together with them, he transforms an uncultivated meadow into a fertile and delicious paradise. The twelve bon vivants go 'back to basics'. They grow everything themselves and cook without electricity, with real fire. With their pure cuisine they try to seduce some top chefs. 'The good life' is a game with nature and a game for honour. The best grower brings in a fork, the best cook a fork. Whoever best combines breeding and good cooking can call himself the master of the good life.
