Every year, almost seven million Belgians pay taxes. More than 22,000 civil servants ensure that the money comes in, but nobody likes to pay taxes and the tax authorities cannot count on much sympathy from the public. For the first time, the country's most feared government agency opens its doors to a camera crew. For a year, cameras recorded the actions of ten officials at the FPS Finance. That provides an unseen look behind the scenes. The civil servants tell how they experience their position and what it is like for them to have a job that everyone has an opinion about.
