Van Moskou tot Magadan plot

Jelle Brandt Corstius tries to explain 'the Mystery Russia'. How is the world's largest country doing, twenty years after the fall of the Wall? And which way is it going? To find answers to these questions, Brandt Corstius travels to the edges of this immense country. Space junk crashing into a village in the remote Atlas Mountains, a chess-mad president in Buddhist Kalmukiia, the violence of the Northern Caucasus, to the Gulag camps of Magadan, twelve thousand kilometers from Moscow. The series shows the splendor, drama and absurdity of the country.
