For the people of Tanana, every day is a struggle for survival. They are completely dependent on what nature has to offer: reindeer for dinner and logging to stoke the stoves. But nature is also their worst enemy. The frigid temperatures can lead to life-threatening hypothermia and the wildlife is also a constant threat to the community.
