Monty Don's Italian Gardens plot

Monty Don leaves for Italy to complete his personal large 'garden tour' through the country. He visits Rome, Florence, Naples, Lucca, Veneto and the lakes of northern Italy in search of horticultural pearls and other horticultural delights. Among other things, he discovers how history has played a major role in the design and shaping of contemporary Italian gardens.
