The Aphrodite Inheritance plot

When British engineer Barry Collier is injured in an accident in Cyprus, his brother David flies there and discovers he has died. It quickly becomes apparent that Barry Collier had become involved with some very questionable individuals. And before he knows it, David has some strange experiences. Could it have something to do with the photo of a stone with hieroglyphics? And who are the intriguing characters who seem to pull the strings of David Collier and appear and disappear at will? Businessman Eugene Hellman, the bartender Charalambos, the brigand Basileos and the very beautiful Helene seem to know more. Could it really be that the gods and goddesses of ancient Greece are playing with him?
