Japan: Earth's Enchanted Islands season 1

I bought this on blu-ray.
There is something to criticize about the standard soundtrack and voice-over (once you have received the info, it is ready), but in terms of content this is not to be sneezed at.
Monkeys riding deer is one of the many weird details in the country, elderly ladies who pull the most poisonous snakes out of the water without gloves, another. And so it goes on.
Japan rules.

It is advisable to put on a John Zorn record of about 50 minutes per episode (turn off the sound).

4.5*.
