The Blue Knight plot

William "Bumper" Morgan has been a police officer with the Los Angeles Police Department for over twenty years and is approaching retirement. He has refused all opportunities for promotion because he loves the job he does: protecting “his” neighborhood from the bad guys. Bumper is an old school cop, who prefers to solve cases in his own way. Due to his great experience and impressive stature, Bumper can often restore peace without violence in conflicts. He takes for granted that he sometimes overlooks things in order to maintain the peace in his neighbourhood.

The Blue Knight season 1

Great police series with an excellent role of George Kennedy as William Morgan better known
as “Bumper” . George Kennedy was a great actor and had a very long career in addition to his many beautiful roles, one of them stands out for me, namely [url=https://www.moviemeter.nl/film/2072]Cool Hand Luke (1967)[/url ]. This series was also on Ned TV but I saw it with our friends at the ARD.
