Unfortunately... a lot less interesting than the first season.

The first season also got off to a slow start, but there was a constant tension under the skin. Moreover, at a certain point that season became really exciting and you felt a build-up to a climax. Here, in fact, they try to do the same, but Jisanne's dreams are too vague to create real tension. In addition, it remains unclear for a long time where exactly people want to go with this new series of episodes. It all just flows a little bit. Fortunately, she goes all the way for the last episodes, but the whole thing comes to an end in a rush. This in contrast to the first season, which had a nice ending.

Still good points? Yes. After all, the regular cast is still doing well. Newcomer Derek de Lint also portrays a mysterious type in a good way. It is also true that every week I remain curious about how the story will continue. Each episode apparently invites you to watch further. What I also thought was strong that the victim in Jisanne's dream does not appear to be Emma. After all, this had been overstated and the final outcome had a surprising effect.

It's hard for me to rate this. It strikes me as too much of an in-between season. If there's another (strong) third season coming, it won't be too much of a problem, but as a final ending it leaves me quite surprised.

3*
