Narcos: México plot

Narcos: Mexico explores the origins of the modern drug war by going back to its roots, starting at a time when the Mexican drug world was a loose and disorganized confederation of independent growers and dealers. Witness the rise of the Guadalajara Cartel in the 1980s when Félix Gallardo took over and traders united to build an empire. When DEA agent Kiki Camarena moves his wife and young son from California to Guadalajara to take on a new position, he soon discovers that his assignment will be more challenging than he ever imagined. As Kiki gathers information about Félix and becomes more entangled in his mission, a tragic series of events unfolds that influence the drug trade and the war against it for years to come.

Strong season again. I have the impression that drama and acting were more central. Good casting of new characters, like Victor.

It's also nice that the series ends just when El Chapo becomes the leader of the Sinaloa cartel, after all, enough has been written and filmed about that.
