Power plot

James 'Ghost' St. Patrick has it all: a beautiful woman, a gorgeous Manhattan penthouse and the hottest new nightclub in New York. His club, Truth, caters to the needs of the elite: the famous and infamous who call the shots in a city that doesn't never sleep. As his club's success grows, Ghost hatches plans to start an empire. However, Ghost has a secret: the club is really just a cover for his criminal activities and the drugs he manufactures. When Ghost is tempted to go the legal path, everything around him is threatened. Once you're in, you can't get out, right?

It's a good crime story with some very good twists. The tension builds well as the season progresses. However, in my opinion too much romance has been put into the first season. That sometimes ensures that certain love scenes become too long-winded.Omari Hardwick also plays a convincing role as the strategically ruthless top criminal James 'Ghost' St. Patrick. His erratic right-hand man Tommy Egan is also a very interesting character in the series.
