Wanderlust plot

"On the Road with American Road Movies"

Documentary about the road movie genre and its influence on American culture. Wanderlust goes in search of the genre's roots, which can be found in the migration to the Wild West and the films made about it. Interviews with directors such as Alexander Payne, Wim Wenders, Gus Van Sant are interspersed with fragments from road movie classics such as Easy Rider, Thelma and Louise and Paris, Texas.
