"A Nightmare Is Born"

The couple Mira and Pétur travel from Nashville, Texas to Iceland. There they plan to open a guest house in a remote fjord. Their plans soon change when an ancient Icelandic demon begins to pester them with vivid nightmares. What follows is a series of events in which Pétur is confronted with dementia, Mira lays an egg the size of a baby and they both face the arduous task of parenthood.
