Wel is de helft van mijn lijst genomineerd geweest voor Beste film. Slechts drie zijn compleet genegeerd, waarvan er twee niet uit de VS komen.

Eindresultaat: 25 beeldjes (verdeeld over de helft van de top 10) op 51 nominaties. Enkel Casino Royale kreeg helemaal niets, bij de 2 Ghibli films kan je nog goedpraten dat er in die tijd nog geen Oscar voor beste animatie film was.

8 nominaties, 5 Oscars, allemaal voor American beauty.
