Cold Harbour plot
During a storm, the mutilated body of a Chinese washes up on a beach in Cape Town. Police officer Sizwe Miya sees it as the perfect opportunity to prove himself and land his coveted promotion. His boss, Venske, gives him the case but sends a young agent along to keep an eye on things. Sizwe soon discovers that the murder is linked to the smuggling of precious seashells by the Chinese mafia. From 'Specialist', a former friend who has become a notorious criminal, Sizwe receives a tip that eventually leads to a large-scale action against the smugglers. But Sizwe cannot accompany the transport of the confiscated shellfish, because Venske calls him back. Then the cargo is stolen. Sizwe realizes that, just like Venske, he has become a puppet of 'Specialist'. But he's not going to acquiesce in that...
