La Vallée Close plot
Shot on Super-8 film, there is no dialogue and almost all the 'action moments' seem very natural, as if the camera had just been set down and started spinning, with no zoom or movement. There are a few simple scenes, which are repeated every time, but are always slightly modified. Tourists visiting a cave that looks a lot like the Titular Valley, a man in a hotel room on the phone, shots of streams, mountains, a riverside cafe and photos of the interior of a dilapidated apartment building. Although none of the people appearing on the screen speak, there are two monologues that are repeated, word for word.
