Willem Breuker "Time Is an Empty Bottle of Wine" plot

In 1966, according to critics, Willem Breuker's anarchic performance at the Loosdrecht jazz festival heralded the end of the music. Breuker, the enfant terrible of Dutch jazz, has since proven that much more is possible. In this road movie, director Netty van Hoorn follows the unruly composer and bandleader with his ten-piece Kollektief on tours through the United States and Europe. She also interviews Breuker at home, where about five hundred compositions are stored in his 'nursery'.
