Staline: Le Tyran Rouge plot
On March 9, 1953, five million people attended Stalin's funeral. Yet he was one of the greatest criminals in history. The uncharismatic Stalin came to power almost by accident in the 1920s, but he turned out to be one of the most bloodthirsty dictators of all time. The man who himself wanted to be called 'the father of the people' was responsible for the deaths of about twenty million people and in his labor camps eighteen million Soviet citizens were treated as slaves. He mercilessly eliminated anyone who opposed him. He even sacrificed his own friends and family to his ambition and lust for power.
