"The Legend that was never told."

In the early 20th century, Ma Yong Zhen joined the hopeful workers to look for work in Shanghai. He remained honest and refused to join a gang and befriended the mobster Long Qi. Japanese spy Hashimoto is enraged by an offer Long declined and attempts to kill the two. Ma survives and is now determined to thin out the bad elements of Shanghai.
