"A boy with nothing who changed everything."
Edison “Dico” Arantes do Nascimento grows up in the dangerous favelas of Brazil, surrounded by a loving family, but nothing more. His only passion is football, something that is forbidden to him by his mother. However, with a bunch of friends who love the game almost as much as he does, he can't suppress the urge to play. When they enter a local tournament, it is immediately apparent that Dico possesses magical abilities.
