Maciste Alpino plot
Maciste (Bartolomeo Pagano) is inhumanly strong but has a heart of gold. While filming a new 'Maciste' film, the great war breaks out and the entire film crew is rounded up by Austrian soldiers and taken to a prison camp. Maciste soon manages to escape from the camp, and together with the Italian army, Maciste sets out on a trek into the mountains to eliminate the Austrian army and rescue a woman in distress from a villa occupied by the enemy.
